INSTRUMENTATION

– Bruker AC-200 NMR spectrometer at 200 MHz 1H frequency

– Bruker Avance DRX-360 NMR spectrometer at 360 MHz 1H frequency

– Bruker Avance DRX-400 NMR spectrometer at 400 MHz 1H frequency (for liquid- and solid state measurements)

– Bruker Avance II 500 spectrometer at 500 MHz 1H frequency

 

        

 

Available services

The NMR facility offers a wide range of high resolution, multinuclear and multidimensional NMR measurements of solutions, including:

* structure confirmation of small- and medium-sized molecules (synthetic or natural products) based on ‘qualitative’ assignment of their 1H/13C NMR spectra

* structural identification of small- and medium-sized molecules based on ‘ab-initio’ assignment of two-dimensional (2D COSY, TOCSY, HSQC, HMBC. etc.) NMR spectra

* information on three-dimensional structure of molecules (determination of configuration and conformation)

* investigation of dynamic properties – motional characteristics – in solution

* structure determination and dynamics study of carbohydrates, peptides, proteins

* characterization of ligand-protein interactions

* component composition of mixtures

* temperature dependent studies in the range of –70°C to +150°C.

* determination of enantiomeric and optical purity

* investigation of mechanism and equilibrium dynamics of solution reactions

* NMR diffusion measurements (DOSY) for determination of hydrodynamic radius and molecular weight of molecules

* NMR measurement of less common nuclei (31P, 17O, 27Al, 195Pt, etc.)

* NMR pulse sequence development
